Oh What Do You Do-oo-oo... When You're Dieting?

You eat things like cottage cheese with cucumbers and tomatoes for lunch. And a mid-morning snack of string cheese. No more cereal for breakfast, and for dinner, lots and lots of veggies. I took some pictures yesterday of our totally transformed fridge, and plan to post a whole series of hilarious things about us dieting. Beginning, I hope, with a picture I took yesterday of the gallon of ONE PERCENT MILK that has replaced the whole milk in my son-of-a-dairy-farmer husband's world. And let me tell you, that little world all came crashing down when I brought home the one percent! Poor guy. The diet is strictest for the first two weeks, which began last night, then it gradually mellows out. It is only with the promise of the return of whole milk that I was able to convince him to even try it out. Anyway, this should be pretty funny for onlookers!

wow, used to us? How about used to it! I don't think my fingers woke up from that last nap...

Tell Mark he'll get used to us. We did a little dairying when I was little and I drink 1% now all the time!...but maybe that has to do with the fact that the dairy was before I was born and we left the farm when I was 4...hmmm...never mind. That might do more harm than good ;)

Cereal is OK for breakfast as long as you eat good stuff like Special K. I have Vanilla Almond Special K (with 2%) and it's yummy!

Good luck with all that dieting, though...

Yea! Sounds like the fun has already began. Can't wait to see the results. I joined a Biggest Loser group that someone started in our ward and it's been a ton of fun. What diet plan are you guys following?
